AZ License Plate Program

The Child Crisis Center is one of 16 agencies funded through the Arizona Child Abuse Prevention License Plate Program. Since the program’s inception in 1999, more than 51,000 of the blue “It shouldn’t hurt to be a child” plates have been sold, making it the most popular specialty plate in Arizona. This year over $650,000 will be distributed to local charities.

Of the $25 license plate purchase price, $17 plus a 50-cents-on-the-dollar match from the Arizona Republic Charities (which brings the total to $25.50), goes directly to primary prevention efforts.

Buying a license plate for your vehicle is a great way to help the Child Crisis Center as well as many other deserving programs.

Child Abuse Prevention License Plates can be ordered by several methods. They are as follows:

  1. Look for the option to purchase the plates on your next vehicle registration renewal form from the Motor Vehicle Division.
  2. Order online at the web site www.SERVICEARIZONA.com or call toll-free 1-888-713-3031.
  3. Look for order forms available periodically in The Arizona Republic, or pick one up at the Child Crisis Center.
